Udenco visits Europe’s largest conference on electric mobility

For decades the world has been moving towards more sustainable energy sources. As a result, the use of electric vehicles (EVs) has continued to rise. These vehicles offer a cleaner and more efficient mode of transportation, contributing to the fight against climate change. Even though the industry is moving forward, there is still a lot to gain. This year’s focus is on reaching the global e-mobility tipping point. The summit is all about how to electrify the transport sector as fast as possible. Questions will be answered such as ‘How can and will the industry ensure massive roll out of profitable charging infrastructure for transport across all of Europe?’ and ‘How do we ensure sustainable and ethical supply chains for batteries?”.

Charging problems solved

During the conference keynotes will highlight cutting-edge solutions of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.  These solutions include megawatt charging for heavy-duty vehicles, ultra-fast charging parks, battery swapping systems, and wireless charging. Udenco is at the forefront of these advancements, having developed a comprehensive product range that caters to diverse vehicle sizes (from personal vehicles and commercial fleets to heavy-duty trucks and eBuses). Our solutions address a wide range of technologies, including Pantograph charging, Powerhouse with dispensers, and V2G charging, and can accommodate power requirements from 7kW up to 1MW. This product variety directly supports the massive EV rollout that the summit aims to address.

Sustainable minerals for batteries

As the demand for EVs increases, so does the need for raw materials such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel. During the event, experts will discuss the international relations concerning both access to minerals, as well as the challenges and solutions surrounding the sustainable and ethical sourcing and production of these minerals. At Udenco, we are committed to using environmentally friendly materials in our batteries, and we work with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. We believe that by adopting sustainable practices throughout the entire supply chain, we can help minimize the impact of EVs on the environment.

Last year 1,300 participants from over 40 countries visited the Nordic EV Summit. It was their biggest event to date and we were proud to be a part of it. The Summit is an exciting opportunity for us to showcase our latest V2G innovation and our white label EV-chargers.
